Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is an upcoming action film in Hindi language produced by Salman Khan Films and directed by Farhad Samji. The film is an official remake of the 2014 Tamil film Veeram and features an ensemble cast including Salman Khan, Venkatesh, Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Raghav Juyal, Shehnaaz Gill, Malvika Sharma, Palak Tiwari, Vijender Singh, Aasif Sheikh and Ram Charan.

Principal photography began in May 2022 and ended in December 2022 with filming taking place in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Ladakh. The film is scheduled to release on 21 April 2023, coinciding with the Eid festival.

The film was initially planned as Bachchhan Paandey with Akshay Kumar, a remake of the Tamil film Veeram, but later the story was changed to remake another Tamil film Jigarthanda. However, the script was later tweaked and presented to Salman Khan, who accepted the film. The movie was announced in January 2020 with the title Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and was later renamed as Bhaijaan, but in August 2022, the official title was revealed as Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The production of the film faced many pre-production delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to reports, the upcoming movie is set in both North and South India and portrays the traditional and modern aspects of both regions. Despite his belief that love is unnecessary, his brothers arrange for him to meet a woman who resembles his past love interest. This leads to a series of events that take them on a journey across the country, uncovering various revelations and providing wholesome entertainment.

How the casting of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan came around

In February 2020, Pooja Hegde was confirmed as the female lead for an upcoming Hindi film. Later in December 2021, Venkatesh was announced as part of the cast, marking his return to Hindi cinema after his appearance in the 1995 film “Taqdeerwala.” Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, and Raghav Juyal were also added to the cast to play Salman Khan’s brothers in the movie.

Joining the ensemble were several actors making their debut in Hindi cinema, including Punjabi actress Shehnaaz Gill, South Indian actress Malvika Sharma, and newcomer Palak Tiwari. Additionally, Vijender Singh, a boxer-turned-politician, also joined the cast. Jagapathi Babu was signed to play a pivotal role in the film, which marks his second Hindi film after “Radhe Shyam” (2022), in which he starred alongside Pooja Hegde. Aasif Sheikh was also confirmed for a pivotal role, and Ram Charan was cast for a special appearance.
