Shark Tank India Judges – Net Worth, Salary or Fees Per Episode

Shark Tank India is the Hindi-language adaptation of the popular American business reality TV show, Shark Tank. The Indian version of Shark Tank follows the same concept as the original show of the same name from the USA, where individuals from all walks of life pitch their unique business ideas to a panel of “sharks”. The show debuted its first season in December of the previous year.

The first season of Shark Tank India premiered on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television on December 20, 2021, and concluded on February 4, 2022. The second season is set to air on the same channels in 2023.

The panel of Sharks is composed of self-made multi-millionaires who listen to the business pitches and evaluate the ideas and products presented. They then decide whether to invest their own money to help bring the proposals to market and provide guidance to the contestants.

The show was hosted by Rannvijay Singha for the first season, and for the second season, he was replaced by comedian Rahul Dua.

CarDekho Group’s CEO and Co-founder is Amit Jain, who launched the company in 2007 with his brother Anurag Jain. As of recent reports, Jain’s estimated net worth is nearly ₹2,900 crore. Amit Jain, the newest shark on Shark Tank, is also the wealthiest. He is the co-founder and CEO of the CarDekho Group, a Unicorn company with over 14 years of experience. His reported salary is Rs 7 Lakhs per episode.

Anupam Mittal, the founder of Shaadi.com, Makaan.com, and Mauj, has an estimated net worth of around Rs. 185 crore. He  completed his MBA in the USA and worked as a Product Manager for MicroStrategy before founding People Group, where he is the CEO. He charges INR 7 lakh per episode.

 

Namita Thapar serves as the executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, and her current net worth is estimated to be nearly ₹600 crore.  Namita Thapar is the Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd. She worked for Guidant Corporation in the United States for about 6 years before joining Emcure. Her reported salary is INR 8 Lakhs per episode.

Peyush Bansal, the CEO and founder of Lenskart, an e-commerce portal for eyewear, is estimated to have a net worth close to Rs. 600 crore. Peyush Bansal, the CEO of Lenskart, worked as a program manager at Microsoft Corporation in the United States before founding the leading e-commerce portal for eyewear in India. His salary is reportedly INR 7 Lakhs per episode.

Aman Gupta, the co-founder and CMO of boAt, a popular audio and wearables brand, has a current net worth of around ₹700 crore. Aman Gupta worked for companies such as Citi, KPMG, and Harman International before co-founding Boat, an Indian-based consumer electronic brand. He charges INR 9 Lakhs per episode.

Vineeta Singh is the CEO and Co-Founder of Sugar, a popular cosmetic brand, and her estimated net worth is nearly ₹300 crore. Vineeta Singh is the co-founder of SUGAR cosmetics. Although there is not much information about her previous work experience, reports suggest that she turned down a ‘one crore per year’ placement offer to start her own company, which unfortunately failed. She charges Rs 8 Lakhs per episode.
