Katherine ‘Kady’ Allen is the daughter of Tim Allen and Laura Deibel on August 8, 1989. She made her show business debut at the age of 4, with a brief appearance in a Christmas episode of the sitcom Home Improvement, synonymous with her father. She later made another cameo in 1993, but this time playing Tim Allen’s character of Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor.

Katherine ‘Kady’ Allen’s breakout role came in 1994 when she portrayed Amy in the movie Radioland Murders. She also appeared in Three Wishes and The Santa Clause the same year.

Furthermore, she acted alongside her father in an episode of Diagnosis Murder, where she played the character Joanne.

Katherine Kady Allen gained prominence for her role as Kady, the eldest daughter, in the ABC popular TV series Last Man Standing. Additionally, she has starred in movies such as Snow Day, The Santa Clause 2, and All I Want for Christmas.

Apart from acting, Katherine Kady Allen holds a degree in psychology with a minor in fashion design and has pursued further studies at Columbia University.  Of late, Katherine Kady Allen prefers to stay out of limelight.

Katherine Kady Allen’s father Tim Allen

Tim Allen is an American actor, comedian, and writer who was born on June 13, 1953, in Denver, Colorado. He is best known for his role as Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor on the hit TV show Home Improvement, which aired from 1991 to 1999.

Allen’s career began in stand-up comedy in the 1980s. He gained popularity with his observational humor about everyday life, which led to several appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and a successful comedy album titled “Men Are Pigs.”

In 1991, Allen landed the lead role on Home Improvement, which became one of the highest-rated sitcoms of the 1990s. During this time, he also starred in several successful films, including The Santa Clause, Toy Story, and Galaxy Quest.

Aside from his acting career, Allen is also an accomplished writer. He has published several books, including his memoir “Don’t Stand Too Close to a Naked Man” and the novel “I’m Not Really Here.”

In addition, Allen is an avid car enthusiast and has appeared on several automotive-themed shows, including Top Gear and Jay Leno’s Garage.

Throughout his career, Allen has won several awards, including a People’s Choice Award, a Golden Globe Award, and an Emmy Award. He continues to act and perform stand-up comedy to this day.

Tim Allen’s wives – Laura Deibel and Jane Hajduk

Tim Allen has been married twice. His first marriage was to Laura Deibel, whom he met in college. The couple got married in 1984 and had a daughter named Katherine, who is also known as Kady Allen.

Allen’s career took off in the late 1980s, and he became a household name thanks to his hit sitcom Home Improvement. However, the success of his career put a strain on his marriage, and he and Deibel divorced in 1999 after 15 years of marriage.

In 2006, Allen married his current wife, Jane Hajduk. The couple met on the set of the movie Zoom, in which they both starred. They got engaged in April 2006 and tied the knot in October of the same year.

Allen and Hajduk have a daughter together named Elizabeth, who was born in 2009. The couple has been married for over 14 years and seems to be going strong. Thus Elizabeth is a half sister to Katherine ‘Kady’ Allen.

As for the reason for Allen’s first divorce, it’s unclear. Both Allen and Deibel have been tight-lipped about the details, but it’s speculated that Allen’s busy work schedule and his growing fame were contributing factors.

Elizabeth Allen – the younger daughter of Tim Allen

Elizabeth Allen Dick, born in March 2009, has expressed interest in acting and landed her debut role as Santa’s youngest daughter, Sandra, in the mini-series The Santa Clauses. Her father, a Toy Story star, initially wanted her to have a small role as an elf, but her impressive reading skills led to her being considered for a bigger part, which ultimately resulted in her being cast as Santa’s daughter. Despite not wanting to pitch his daughter for a part in the movie, Allen allowed Elizabeth to pursue her passion and was thrilled with the outcome. In contrast to his first marriage, Allen has been much more present in Elizabeth’s life and cherishes every moment they spend together, even if it means playing tea party on the ground.
