 Brangelina Divorce – Reason

Though the reason has been cited as ‘irreconcilable differences’, sources close to the couple have stated that Angelina Jolie was upset with her husband’s angry outburst, alcoholism and substance abuse. She  believed that Pitt was an example of bad parenting and was clear about her kids not being influenced with their father’s  irresponsible ways.  While Jolie has stated that she would like full and total physical custody of the children, Pitt has stated that he would contest her claim.

Did Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have a prenup agreement?

It is not clear whether Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie drew a prenuptial agreement. However, there are rumors that a prenup agreement does exist between the two, where Angelina Jolie would retain a total and full physical custody of children,  if Pitt cheated on her or walked out on her. According to the agreement, the wealth would be channelized into a private trust fund for their children.

Years ago in 2005,  Pitt had to contend with an expensive divorce with Aniston. The couple drew a $60 million settlement with Aniston taking $29 million and Pitt getting his share of $31 million. Aniston retained the Beverly Hills mansion that they stayed in as a couple, while Pitt got ownershp of Plan B Production.

If there is no prenup agreement, the property that they have their joint titles on,  will be divided among them, according to terms of separation.
